Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area

20 metres from the beach. Knokke-Heist is the most mundane place of the Belgian coast. There are more then 200 resto's; more then 50 art galleries and all luxury boutiques in one street. England can be reached and back in one day by boot from Ostend or Zeebruges.
Bruges is at 12 km; Brussels at 110 km; Ghent at 50 km; Ostend at 30 km.
The Dutch border is at 12 km; Normandy (the French border) is at 62 km; The Luxemburg and German border are at
300 km.
