Our house was built in the sixties and was recently renovated. It has bright spaces and the kitchen and living room give access to the garden.
We are looking for an exchange at the end of July '19 (East France, North Italy, ...)
In addition we have a weekend house at less than 1 km from our house; a small but very charming place (2 last pictures)

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our house is located in a quiet area (Westveld) just outside the historic centre of Ghent.
In July (18-29/6) we have ’Gentse feesten’ ; a free festival with lots of activities for children and adults, street theater, concerts (of international artists), etc. (more information: https://gentsefeesten.stad.gent).
Besides being close to Ghent it has a lot to offer; Campo Santo is absolutely worth a visit (1 km) as well as Villa Anamma (800m).
If you like the country side, a 2 km walk along the 'castle route' brings you Gasthof 't Haeseveld for a drink.
At less than 1 km, you can find a bus stop (150m), bakery and tea house (400m), grocery (500m), swimming pool (outdoor and indoor swimming pool, subtropical swimming pool and wellness, 600m), ...
The historic centre of Ghent is only 2.5 km away and can easily be reached by bicycle, by foot or by bus.
The train station (Gent Dampoort) is 2 km away, so other interesting cities as Bruges, Antwerp and Brussels are easy to reach.
