We stayed in a nicely decorated house. The metro is within walking distance and easy to use. Made an app group with our exchange partners to short things out. The bakery around the corner is great. Brussels has many attractions and we will definitely come back. Richmonde en Mathijs.

Un échange fait dans une grande réciprocité et en toute tranquillité. La communication entre nous avant (visio) et durant l'échange (whatsApp) a été généreuse et agréable. Beaucoup de bienveillance et d'attention pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux et que nous nous sentions à l'aise dans la maison et dans la ville. La maison est très belle, agréable et facile et parfaitement bien située (quartier calme, métro proche, déplacements à pied). Cet échange fut un vrai plaisir.

Het huis van Fran voldeed perfect aan onze verwachtingen met een overdaad aan ter beschikking gesteld eten. Alleen jammer dat er geen muziekinstallatie was. Belangrijk te weten voor toekomstige gasten is dat het niet nodig is speciale acties te ondernemen m.b.t. het parkeren. Om de hoek is er blauwe zone. Voor langere tijd kan men gratis parkeren in Wemmel (slechts 20 minuten terugfietsen). Ideale plek om Groot Brussel te verkennen/ontdekken. Een aanrader. Johan & Anne

We immediately felt at home in Fran and Bart's big house. The contact before and during the stay was very relax. The neigborhood is in full development: we liked the Tour & Taxi site with a new park nearby, and the 'Be Here' site behind the corner. We did everything in Brussels by bike, but the connection to the center by public transport also seems very good. Apart from the classical highlights of Brussels, the Train World museum is also worth a visit.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la maison et le jardin de Fran, Bart et leurs enfants. Elle est immense, lumineuse et accueillante. La rue est très peu passante la nuit, c’est un endroit très tranquille. Il est très facile de se déplacer en vélo (une station de vélos de location à quelques pas) ou en transports en commun tout proches aussi. Et bien que nous soyons allés plusieurs fois à Bruxelles nous trouvons toujours de nouvelles choses à y découvrir ! Un très bel échange donc, merci !

We had a truly remarkable and great exchange with Fran and Bart in Brussels. The house was very clean and tidy and had a great atmosphere. It is also a very spacious house with lots of rooms. We really loved the authentic atmosphere this house has. We spent there 5 days between Christmas and a few days after New Year. If you want to explore the Brussels region, than this place is great. It's located close to the city centre, close to the subway, shops, etc. We used the subway to visit many parts of the city and many museums. Even with small children this was very doable because of the subway nearby and the great and spacious house to get back to and relax in the afternoon/evening. Having a nice and quiet place in a big city like this is truly great. Bart and Fran and their children also took great care of us in providing us a clean and tidy house, and having someone to meet us when we arrived in Brussels and even a small Christmas present for the children under the Christmast tree. We had a great contact with them before and during our stay. They also left our house as we had left it --> clean, tidy and well taken care off. All in all, this was a true great exchange! We had a great first exchange thanks to Fran and Bart. Their house is large and beautiful and 15mn away by metro from the historical center of Brussels. The let us all the instructions we could need, took care of the parking card for our car and of the metro cards, it was very kind of them. We loved our stay in Brussels.

La maison est bien située à proximité du métro . Nous avons également été jusqu'à l'Atomium et le centre ville à pied . 45'-60' de marche environ .Le confort de la maison est satisfaisant . Elle est trés grande et les espaces de vie sont confortables .

Thanks for the possibility to use you spacious home for one week to be able to explore the amazing city of Brussels, and for the effort you did to get a parking licence for us.
