One of the best places for citytrips or holidays in Antwerp!
Large and wide characteristic house (1936), 450 m2, borders upon park in a quiet and green residential area in Antwerp. Beautiful architecture. Big sunny garden which gives you the opportunity to eat and live outside. (bbq / garden tables and chairs/play tools for the children/...). Public swimmingpool nearby. You can come with 8-10 people, space enough for everybody.
Antwerp is alive and kicking , a real cultural metropol. Look at www.coolcapitals.com. Good connections (motorway/ /train/ bus /bicycles) to the other main historical cities in Belgium: Brussels, Gend, Bruges, Damme, Dinant. Sea with sandy beaches at one hour drive. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Paris and Luxemburg are reachable.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a quiet and green area in Antwerp: the 'Expo district', an interesting neighborhood with architecture from the interwar period and the 1950s. The historic city centre is easy to reach: 15' by bike,10' by tram or bus. And the trendy south district with many restaurants and shops is even more close by: only 10' by bike.
De wijk dankt haar naam aan de Wereldtentoonstelling van 1930, en was voorbestemd om een residentiële buurt te worden met veel groen. De bebouwing stemt in grote lijnen overeen met de oorspronkelijke indeling van de Tentoonstelling, en is eenvormig en harmonieus. De woningen in de Expowijk zijn hoofdzakelijk rond dezelfde periode gebouwd: tussen de jaren '30 en '50 en hebben een typisch karakter.
