We are a middle-aged couple who have settled in beautiful, chilled-out Byron bay. The children have all left home (two in UK and two in Australia), but we still have an amazingly clever, well-mannered, Kelpie/Shepard cross called Hendrix.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
It is a short walk to the beach, pub, restaurants (including the famous CHUPACABRA) at Suffolk Park. There are buses into Byron Bay approximately every half an hour from two stops on Broken Head Road - three minutes walk from the house. The trip takes about 10 minutes. One of the buses (640) goes right passed the house on Teak Circuit and you just flag it down. The Far North Coast and Northern Rivers regions of NSW have endless possibilities - beaches to surf, mountains to climb, galleries to wander around, and rivers to kayak. Check out https://nomadsworld.com/things-to-do-byron-bay/ for some local ideas and https://www.visitnsw.com/destinations/north-coast/northern-rivers/nature for some amazing outdoors ideas further afield.
