We are semi retired farmers who live between our farm in north central victoria and the beach house.
Robert, 65, has been a full time farmer, ., Cathie 64,a nurse, an assessment officer for HACC, part time farmer, and always a mother bringing up six children
We love the land, enjoy our farming enterprise, which younger generations have taken the reins of now.
We have travelled within Australia and overseas a lot, and really enjoy seeing where other people live and experiencing different cultures. Both have a passion for walking, nearly always this is how we get around on our holidays.
Queenscliff is at the mouth to the Melbourne bay. Ships and small craft can everyday be viewed coming in and out of the heads. If you don"t want to, you can manage without a car. Beach, shops, restaurants, all within walking distance. Buses to other towns, and ferry hourly to Sorrento, on the other side of the bay.
It is close to the renowned Great Ocean Rd, bike and walking tracks, winery's and much more. In other words, always something to do, or, relax at the house and not hear a sound except for the surf.
kayak, bikes and a spa available.
Our farm "Willera" is at Serpentine in northern Victoria, we farm with 2 sons and their families and a future son-in-law, we run 15,000 sheep and grow canola, wheat, oats and barley.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Willera by the Sea is our home away from home in Queenscliff, Victoria, Australia. Situated 1 1/4 hours drive from the Melbourne CBD Queenscliff is a quiet seaside town on Victoria's Bellarine Peninsula.
The house is large with 5 bedrooms however half the house can be shut off, making it a comfortable, manageable house for a couple that can cater for guests when required. This is how we currently utilise the house, as a beachside escape from country Victoria for the two of us or to accomodate our adult children and their families.
Our home is a recently renovated beach house with a large courtyard, deck, veggie patch and garden shed. The wide and welcoming entry leads the way to a large north facing open plan kitchen, dining & living which is surrounded by a wall of windows and french doors letting in plenty of natural light. The kitchen has a touch of country with the timber cabinetry and quality appliances have been considered including dishwasher. The main lounge has a large smart TV. Adding to house is a large rumpus / living room at the rear complete with billiard table, large flat screen TV and plenty of room to move. The large deck is perfect for summer BBQ’s or a winter brekkie in the morning sun.
The outdoor area consists a large deck and spa. The long driveway / carport which will fit 2 cars.
Willera by the Sea is the perfect beach house for all months of the year having gentle hydronic heating in the cooler seasons and reverse cycle air conditioning for the warmer months. Its location is only meters from the picturesque bay beach and also only a short stroll to the town centre.
