Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
A quiet spot near popular Sunshine Coast holiday destinations, Coolum and Noosa. Direct access across the road to a beautiful headland walk and the beach with white sand, rock pools and good waves for surfing. An easy 15min scenic stroll through the National Park walking track to beachfront shops/cafes/restaurants in Coolum. Driving 30mins west into the tropical hinterland of the Blackall Ranges/Glass House Mountains for stunning views, craft shops and restaurants.
Summer or winter, there is plenty to do or see!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From our apartment, it is a 15min walk either by road or scenic headland track into the beach and shopping precinct of Coolum.
Cafes, Restaurants, Takeaways, Supermarkets, Clubs, Pubs, there is a range of food options to suit most budgets. Further north is the resort area of Noosa with more sophisticated shops, restaurants and theatres/cinemas. There is also the Noosa River for a myriad of water craft and sports. The Noosa National Park is a popular 2-10k walking track along the edge of the ocean and around the headland. Between Point Arkwright and Noosa, visit at least five other pretty surfing/ beach areas for different scenic options. Twenty minutes south of Point Arkwright is the larger city of Maroochydore which has an international airport and a great variety of music and theatre entertainment.
Thirty minutes west of Point Arkwright is the scenic drive up the ranges to a great variety of craft villages, cheese factories and
rainforest walks.
