It was a wonderful warm welcome from Alyson. She even came to the airport to pick me up and after I had been settled in their studio in the garden, she walked me round the area pointing out the supermarket, which cafes I might like, where the station was etc. The station was about 8 minutes from the house and shops etc. even closer. Once home she called me to say they liked to treat their guests as family so to pop in if ever I needed anything etc. so I felt at home immediately. That is what I like about home exchanges. She left me lots of goodies to eat and drink and I hope one day she and her husband will come to London so I can reciprocate their hospitality. Thanks so much Alyson and family.

The apartment is small, but enough for two people, we spend the day discovering the city. Erskineville It’s very well connected by train to the center of Sydney and there are bars, restaurants and supermarkets
