We’re Aussies, baby boomers, professionals, semi-retired, parents, grandparents and passionate, independent travellers who love exploring the world, preferably on foot. Five years ago we downsized to build a new, smaller home we could ‘lock, leave, swap and share’ to help realise our travel dreams.
If Australia is on your horizon—when travel resumes— we look forward to hearing from you.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
It’s just ten minutes from our townhouse to Mooloolaba, Alexandra Headlands and Maroochydore beaches and some of the best surf, sun and sand on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
If you’re dreaming of a Queensland beach holiday—please read on!
Buderim is a leafy residential suburb on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. It’s 15 minutes to the regional center, 20 minutes to our local airport and an hour to Brisbane International Airport and the city.
Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin's 'Australia Zoo' is 30 minutes away and world heritage listed Fraser Island is 2 hours to the north. A little further on is the southern tip of the Great Barrier Reef.
Natural beauty surrounds us which means surfing, paddling, fishing, hiking, cycling, golfing or just kicking back in the great outdoors is the place to be.
You can count on the sun shining 261 days per year and more, overnights rarely dipping below 10' C and the ocean always an inviting 25' C or thereabouts. All this makes the Sunshine Coast a favourite, year-round holiday destination and a very special place to live.
We’ve built our home to enjoy this great climate and the lifestyle that comes with it. We’d love to share it with you.
Our two-story home features the following -
Ground floor
Large, air-conditioned open plan living area that flows on to a deck
Streamlined, fully equipped kitchen
Air-conditioned master bedroom with walk-in robe and en-suite
Deck, internal courtyard, powder room
