Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Always interested in Australian offers we receive. Consider few days to 2-3 weeks.
We welcome overseas offers either swap or non synch.
We are very experienced exchangers having had a number of exchanges in Europe, Canada, US & Australia.
We live in the Lower Blue Mountains. Our home is surrounded on 2 sides by bushland. We have 3 bedrooms and a study. One bedroom has a Queen bed, one a double (pull down wall bed) and the 3rd bedroom no longer has a bed and is used as a workroom. It is possible to add a portable bed in this room.
Our home is open plan, with 2 living areas, big windows looking out to bush. Very private, yet close to everything. Big deck with barbeque and enclosed courtyard and very peaceful.
We have a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms and all mod cons. Study has a computer and fast internet access.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We live in a town in the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains are world heritage listed and comprise several small villages along the the ridge over the mountains. We are situated right on the bush and easy access to the railway for transport. Our home overlooks the bushland. 10-20 minutes walk will offer you cafes, restaurants, shopping, parks. A 10 minute drive will allow you to get to the Blue Mountains National Park, Glenbrook. Katoomba and Blackheath at the top of the mountains are about a 30-35 minute drive. Sydney city centre is about 1 hour by fast train. It is a 50-60minute drive outside peak hour.

Our Preferences
Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We will be visiting Europe in June 2019 to August 2019. We already have one exchange in Denmark but are still seeking an exchange in Berlin.
We will be travelling in Norway and Sweden during this trip and are keen to receive offers from those countries.
In addition we definitely plan to visit the Netherlands and are interested in offers from people there.
We always have a week or so as a side trip when we visit one location in Europe. This trip we would love to spend a short time in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal or Croatia.
Our house rules are simple - please treat our home as you do your own.
We can manage 1-2 children.
