We felt as home!
We loved our stay in Oatley. This location is perfect to visit Sydney, Blue Mountains, the beautiful beaches of the New South Wales and Canberra. The community of Oatley offer many local styles and shops to buy fresh products, bakery products, meats, fresh fish. We loved staying there!

We live in Oatley, Sydney, 18km, S, in a modern split level home of 350 square metres.
The house features panoramic 180 degree waterviews from almost every room.... with outdoor spa overlooking the water.
We have 4 bedrooms (3 queen beds, 1 double) 3 bathrooms, large open style living/dining room, modern kitchen, large rumpus room with bar and pool table, study, separate laundry, patios and grassy outdoor areas, double
garage.
Our home has modern conveniences including airconditioning, gas BBQ, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, clothes dryer, 2 entertaining systems (cable TV, DVD, video), internet and security system, exercise bike
The house is decorated in a modern Asian theme and is a wonderfully relaxing place to live.
There is a flat grassy terrace (fenced) with an outdoor spa at the rear of the house overlooking the river and balconies to enjoy the view

Our neighbourhood is safe friendly and peaceful with a nice village atmosphere and lovely water views...from our train station you are quickly whisked in 25 minutes into the centre of the Sydney CBD and the Harbour.
Oatley all the facilities you need...supermarkets, butchers, green grocers, chemist, bank, cafes, local pub, clubs, doctors, train station plus a great pie shop selling over 40 varieties of pies. As well we are close to 3 large shopping centres.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Oatleys local parks provide some nice bush walks, bike rides and playgrounds with BBQs facilities, golf course within 5 minutes drive, 3 large shopping malls with movies close by, lots of local restaurants within 10 minutes drive of our home, local pub with good food and entertainment, take a stroll across Como footbridge to the other side of the river to lovely playground with coffee shops and Thai restaurant.
30 Minute drive to surf beaches of Cronulla or calm beaches of Botany Bay. The Royal National Park is 35 minute drive away.
Plus all the delights of Sydney City is only a 20 minute train ride from our train station at Oatley....so no need to drive and fight the traffic.

We, Lyn and Jed, usually travel with another couple or one of our adult children and their spouse but sometimes there is just the two of us.
So our party could consist of 2, 4 or 6 people. We have 2 grandchildren who we love to take on trips.We ask all smokers to please smoke outside the house.
