Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Modern, comfortable house. 3 bedrooms, one king-sized, one queen-sized, one kids room with a single day bed that converts to a double and a cot, plus pull-out sofa bed in the lounge room. Suits 4 adults plus 4 kids. 2 bathrooms + powder room. Ducted heating and cooling. Indoor and outdoor dining for 10, fully appointed entertainers kitchen. BBQ and alfresco area. Step out the back gate onto the Warburton walking/cycling trail. WiFi. Use of small 5 seater hybrid petrol/electric SUV negotiable.
The airport is about 20km NW of Melbourne, and the drive takes 60+min depending on the timing of the drive.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
On the outskirts of Melbourne, we're between Lilydale and Mt Evelyn, which both have a small town feel. There's a bus stop on your doorstep, 15min to the train station, then an hour by train to Melbourne city. Or an hour by car. 2km walk to supermarket, cafes and a few restaurants. Out the back gate you'll find the Warburton Rail Trail, 48km long through beautiful bush and farmland, mostly flat and very accessible, for walking and cycling. Also 2km walk to Lilydale Lake, for walking, swimming, kayaking and picnics
