Welcoming and comfortable Queenslander homeWe felt very much at home in Di and Torquil's lovely old Queenslander house. They made us very welcome before they left for the UK and showed us around the neighbourhood. It was ideal for us as it was close to where our daughter and her family are living, which was the purpose of our visit. It is very conveniently located, with shops, cafes and restaurants all a short walk away. Rail and bus links were similarly close by, making trips into the city centre very easy. Beautiful Kalinga Park was also within easy walking distance and transport routes out of the city and to the airport were easy. Di and Torquil left us well-provided for and our young grandson thoroughly enjoyed his sleepovers, as their own grandson had kindly loaned us his toys and books to play with. All in all, a very happy exchange!
