Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We enjoy travel, seeing other countries and new experiences.
We are currently planning a trip to Tasmania Mar 2019 Germany and Ireland June 2019
We are especially open to hosted stays. Home exchange and hosting has enabled us to meet new people and make many new friends.
Our home is 26 km south/ west of Brisbane. it is a comfortable brick house which has 4 double bedrooms, 2 with queen size beds and with TV, the main has on-suite. The third has a doubble bed and the fourth room has two single beds.
The double garage has been converted into office sewing room and storage. Parking is in a three bay carport.
Next to the kitchen is a large open living area. Outside is a large patio area and B.B.Q overlooking the pool.
The house fills up most of the 860 sq. metre block so we do not have a lot of garden.
We are close to the main arterial roads and a major shopping, Medical, Financial and Bus services are at the Grand Plaza and surrounding area. (Just over 1.5km, from the house, or a pleasant 20 minute walk)
Off peak hours, we are about 50 minutes by bus or car to the city, an hours drive to the Gold Coast and 2 hours to the Sunshine coast.
There are many places to visit and things to do in day trips, from city tours, the river cruise is the best way to see the city, Lone Pine Koala and animal sanctuary near Brisbane, Island trips to beach, coastal and inland farming visits.
We enjoy travel, seeing other countries and new experiences.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We have an easy care garden, but it may need some water :-) As we do not have young children at the house, it is not 'child proof', but older children would be fine.
