A perfect place not only for a home exchange
Wendy and Greg are very easygoing and responsible home exchange partners. They have perfectly prepared our home exchange and we found a very well equipped house and lots of information about useful things and activities. The location was perfect for our family of four people. A shopping centre is in walking distance and very beautiful beaches and surfspots are only ten minutes by bicycle. In less than one hour and a half driving distance there is not only the city of Brisbane but also several national parks and and attractive theme parks. During our stay we were in regular contact with Wendy and Greg and when we came home, we found our house in perfect condition. We would recommend a home exchange with Wendy and Greg any time again.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Location, location, location. Our home is perfectly located being close to beaches, river, restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. Easy walk to everything. Very quiet location except for kookaburras and Lorikeets at sunset.
Our fishing gear, bicycles and golf clubs are available for use.
Within 20 minutes of our home are the theme parks of Sea World, Wet N Wild Water World, Dreamworld, Movie World and the Australian Outback Spectacular.
There are many bars/clubs nearby including the local Burleigh Surf Club (15 minutes walk away) which offers full bar facilities and dining while you enjoy the beautiful views of Burleigh Heads beach.
The Gold Coast International Airport is about a 15 minute drive away.
Just an hours drive north is the city of Brisbane with its international airport and less than 50 minutes south is Byron Bay.
There is a 24 hour bus service that runs frequently along the Gold Coast Highway which is quite cheap. No need for a car but there is one to use if you wish.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
Seeking simultaneous or non simultaneous home exchange to:
anywhere in Western Australia for up to 1 week in the period March to May.
South Australia from mid February to mid April for 1 week.
Northern Territory from June for 1-2 week.
We are seeking an exchange of 1- 4 months to England and/or France/ Spain possibly other European countries in the period 1 May to 7 October 2022. Will consider any offer.
Other exchanges to Asia, Africa and Pacific considered anytime. We are also seeking an exchange to Melbourne. Other areas of Australia considered.
It is important to find our home neat and tidy when we return. Respect for our property as we will respect yours.
Depends on age of children as to their suitability.
