SEEKING Exchanges for 2019-2021
Our comfortable home with private swimming pool, is located is situated in a pleasant peaceful leafy suburb of rolling hills and bush land along the Brisbane river and has very convenient public transport available (bus stop within 150 meters) There is a shopping center with restaurants, a public swimming pool, sports club, tavern-all within 3 kms. We also have a furnished two bedroom apartment overlooking the beach and ocean which is available most dates of the year. It is located at Sunshine Beach (about 100 minutes north of the Brisbane airport) and is within walking distance to the beach and Noosa National Park.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Bellbowrie is a quiet suburb of rolling hills located on the Brisbane River and is surrounded by acreage, trees,/bush-land, and numerous horse paddocks but also has plenty of amenities . There are numerous parks, a Sports Club, Public pool, medical and dental offices, and a petrol station.
The shopping centre has a Coles Supermarket, chemist, fruits and vegetables, bottle shop, numerous places to eat: Coffee shop, Thai, Indian, Sushi, Fish & Chips, MacDonald's, Pizza Hut
Bellbowrie is a fairly young suburb as almost all homes were built since the 1970's. Our home is about 2 kilometers from the suburb center but is serviced by public buses- with a stop about 150 meters away. Generally homes here are very well kept and on large allotments. Most have swimming pools and lots of gardens.
Brisbane is the capital and most populous city (of about 2.2 million) in the Australian state of Queensland and the third most populous city in Australia.

The Bellbowrie shopping centre has a Coles Supermarket, chemist, fruits and vegetables, bottle shop, gym, and petrol station plus numerous places to eat: Bellbowrie Tavern, Sports & Rec Club, Coffee shop, Thai, Indian, Sushi, Fish & Chips, MacDonald's, Pizza Hut.
Kenmore is a larger suburb about 12 mins away with restaurants, supermarkets, library, gym etc.
Indooroopilly is a larger suburb (another 5 minutes away) with train station and bus transportation stations. It is a very large modern shopping center. Includes lots of small stores plus large department stores such as Target, Myer, David Jones, also a library and Cinemas,
There are numerous Parks:Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (19 min) , Mt Cootha (18 mins), Anstead Bushland Reserve (6 mins), Moggill Regional Park (8 mins)
Brisbane City CBD and South Bank is about 35 mins drive.
The Sunshine Coast and hinterland is about 1 -1 1/2 hours north ( Australian Zoo 90 mins,) Noosa 2 1/2 hour
The Gold Coast and theme parks are about 90 mins south. Byron Bay, NSW, is about 2 1/2 hours drive South

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
My home is not a rental and so as it is our home we would expect that our belongings be treated with respect and ignored if not necessary for use. Specific special items will be stored in specific identified locations including an unused bedroom. We expect similar attitude with our exchange partner and family.
No excessive yard work is anticipated but it would be nice to keep potted plants watered as necessary. The swimming pool will be left in good, clean condition ready for use with sufficient chemicals for normal use. The swimming pool is to be maintained by the exchangee and left in same condition as found upon arrival.
There are to be no other occupants in my home other than as agreed in written exchange agreement.
My car will be cleaned, serviced, and ready for use with a full tank of fuel.Unless discussed and agreed, it will not be driven a distance greater six hours from my home and not used for more than a reasonable overall distance.
