Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our home of 40 years is modern/comfortable and convenient to all services.
We have sleeping for up to six, two bathrooms, kitchen / dining plus a separate dining room, large lounge, separate family room, spa and outdoor entertainment area, and a nice garden.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
We are a quiet residential neighborhood, 20 - 30 minutes from the city (depending on time of the day, and your mode of transport,etc), and 10 minutes from Adelaide's largest Metropolitan shopping Centre (Westfield Marion), 10 minutes from the beach, and adjacent to the Adelaide hills.
Regular bus services to the city and and Westfield Marion are 4-5 minutes walk from our home.
There are pleasant walks in parks and bushland settings adjacent.
We are just 30 minutes from The Southern Vales Wine Region and our second home at beachside Carrickalinga is under an hour away.

The city of Adelaide itself is surrounded by parklands & also has the picturesque Torrens River. There are many city attractions -Rundle Mall for shopping, The Central Market (for food), Festival Theatre, Botanic Gardens, Casino, Museums, Art Galleries, Adelaide Zoo with its Panda Bears, the famous Adelaide Oval (John is a tour guide there), & much more>
Beachside suburbs Glenelg and Brighton are very popular with tourists - just 15 minutes away.
South Australia is best known for it's grape growing and wine making, with The Barossa Valley, The Adelaide Hills, and Southern Vales Regions all close by. The Adelaide Hills has The Cleland Wildlife Park where you can walk amongst the Kangaroos and see Koalas up close, the popular tourist town of Hahndorf, and Victor Harbor is always a popular place to visit too.
Kangaroo Island & the Flinders Ranges are spectacular. You need extra time to travel to these.
Adelaide is also famous for its arts festivals, fine restaurants & top sporting events
