Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Now for some helpful tips if you come to Ballarat and Victoria, the state I live in. Welcome to Ballarat and my comfortable home, which is 9 years old, in a quiet street, modern with a lovely balcony at the back overlooking the forest which is very is very relaxing. I walk on the Yarrowee Trail most days, along the creek, which is popular with bikes, joggers etc. The home is 3 kms from the centre of Ballarat, which has a good train service to Melbourne, taking 1-11/2 hours by train. Ballarat has the good Fine Art Gallery, Organs of the Ballarat Goldfields Festival in January, Begonia Festival in March, Ex Prisoner of War Memorial, Sovereign Hill historical Gold tourist park, Lake Wendouree which held the 1956 Olympic rowing for rowing competitions, South Street eisteddfod for dancing, singing, and great National Trust architecture. The Grampian mountains are 3hours west. Geelong and the surf coast are 1 hour. Historic gold towns abound nearby, Daylesford, Bendigo etc.

It's only 100 mt to bus route to town. 150 mt to supermarket. Restaurants 1-3 Kms. Lake Wendouree 4 Kms. Really I'm close to everything as well as the spa towns of Daylesford, Hepburn and Creswick. Regional Victoria is at your fingertips or The Grampians mountains 3 hours. Geelong and beaches are 1 hour away or Gt Ocean Road.
