We are a couple in our early 50's who enjoy the outdoors and exploring new countries. Scott is a Firefighter and Madonna runs a Yoga Teacher training school. We have 2 adult children who we are happy to say have moved out to places of their own. Scott has 5 months of Long Service Leave in 2020 and we intend to make use of this travelling in Europe.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The area: Paradise Point on the Gold coast- a multitude of beautiful restaurants, the sea and large child friendly parks are a mere 500 meters away although the actual street of the house is extremely quiet and tranquil. 15 minutes to surfing beaches. The Gold Coast is famous for it's 20kms of beautiful white sandy beaches and an abundance of excellent restaurants. The Gold Coast is the 6th largest city but is exceptional due to it's coastline and in addition there are rainforests and mountains are a mere 30 minutes away. The famous Byron Bay is 80 minutes south and Brisbane is 60 minutes North. For the kids, we have Movie World, Sea World, Dream World and Wet and Wild Water Park a mere 15 minutes away. There is a reason why the Gold Coast is Australia's number 1 Tourist destination.
