Brand new Aussie Hamptons-styled home overlooking Barwon River estuary & a short walk to the spectacular surf beach. Quiet area but with loads to see and do. Completely separate ground floor accommodation (fully secure & private, with your own entrance). Large lounge & dining room overlooking garden with views of river and big skies. Well equipped kitchenette with fridge, microwave and limited cooking facilities. Your own Weber bbq on your private verandah. Two large bedrooms with queen size beds. Family bathroom with separate shower and bath. Large laundry room. Outdoor furniture for relaxing on your own front and back decks. Car parking available. Beautifully presented with lovely bed linen & bath towels, of course!

Friendly, quiet neighborhood. Home has stunning sunsets & views of the river towards Lake Connewarre & the lights of Geelong. Surf beach 7 minute walk, river beach 30 seconds! Golf course at end of street. Lawn bowls club 5 minutes walk, bar & restaurant as well. Family water park 10 minute drive, Barwon Heads village 3 minute drive. Supermarket, bakery, butcher, boutiques 3 minute drive. Wineries - Everywhere & plenty!

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Dozens of cafes on The Bellarine Peninsula with the closest one around the corners serving great coffee. Many, wineries & restaurants are great for brekky & long lunches. Pubs too. Strawberry farm 5 minutes drive & Tuckerberry Hill great for picking blueberries in season. For families there’s Adventure Park Geelong 10 minutes drive away. Very popular with rides & activities based around water. Park Run across the road every Saturday for a run along the riverside. Passenger ferry to Melbourne takes 75 minutes. Train takes 1 hour. Car & passenger ferry to Sorrento & Portsea takes 30 minutes. Then there’s historic cities of Ballarat & Bendigo 1 - 2 hours. Torquay is the start of The Great Ocean Road, seriously one of the best coastal drives in the world. Drive down to Port Campbell via Lorne & Apollo Bay to the Twelve Apostles & return via the beautiful Otways Rainforest. A full day but even better if you stay overnight along the way. Finally, we are on The Bellarine Peninsula - one of Lonely Planet’s top secret places you absolutely should visit!
