We are professional retired couple with grown up family and grandchildren. John worked as a Customs Officer and was an Early Childhood Advisor with the Government. We love to go boating and to relax with a glass of wine overlooking the water and love to travel to new places.
John plays golf at the many golf courses in the area and often joins Linda to play croquet. We love the beaches and fishing, and can catch crabs from our jetty, then cook them for a wonderful meal.
We also love the waterfront in Mandurah and go to the bars, restaurants, theatre and cinema located there next to the Marina.
We emigrated from the UK In1983 and love the Australian lifestyle, especially in Mandurah.

The house is very contemporary, fully air conditioned and heated and easy to live in. This modern decor property has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms; study and separate tv room
Master bedroom - Queen bed, TV, a huge en-suite with toilet, double basins, corner bath and walk in shower.
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed with walk-in wardrobe
Bedroom 3 - Queen bed with wardrobe space
2nd Bathroom with bath, vanity and walk in shower
Separate powder room with toilet.
There is a separate lounge/theatre room, huge fully fitted kitchen, dining room, family room, office, utility room, and alfresco area overlooking the water.
Wi-fi is available plus 2 large flat screen tv’s both with dvd players, and access and a Wii.
BBQ facilitates are available on the decking along with outdoor seating.
It is a single storey residence with everything on one level.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Mandurah is located 80 kms south of Perth in Western Australia. It is a tourist area and water playground, where there is boating, fishing, crabbing, and access to the Indian Ocean.
There are wineries locally and the Superb Margaret River Wine Region for a day trip.
Our neighbourhood is quiet and has homes on scenic canals near the river and a bird sanctuary, and wetlands but is located within minutes of all attractions and amenities. Dolphins frequently pass our door as do sting rays, and numerous fish.
We have easy access to a number of beaches, and shopping centres with frequent local buses.
Only 5 mins to Mandurah train station. Perth CBD only 45 minutes away by train.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We live on the water and all of the Peel and Harvey inlet rivers and ocean are available for boating, fishing ,crabbing, sailing.
Mandurah has great restaurants cafes and bars and nearly all are on or have water views.
There is a cinema, theatre and lots of open space to enjoy a BBQ or just relaxing.
Near to Mandurah Foreshore – café strip, children’s playground, boating, skate park, theatre and movies.
Mandurah has a number of marinas including Dolphin Quay that has numerous good restaurants and bars, beach and recreation area.
Mandurah is only 30 minutes from the hills and Dwellingup where there are rivers for canoeing and fishing and camping areas, and adventure type activities.
