We are retired school principal and teacher who would like to travel now that we are able to do so. We like walking, golf, tennis, swimming, a nice restaurant and enjoying our garden. We have 5 grandchildren in NSW and WA. We have a little rescue dog, Nellie who can be minded by family members. We are very responsible and tidy people. We are looking for an exchange in England.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our neighbourhood is friendly and set in a peaceful setting between the national park and the ocean which can be heard at night. Magenta Shores is a Pullman golf/leisure estate made up of young families, retirees and annually hosts many visitors from around the globe. It has a wonderful club/restaurant on site for that special occasion or a family pizza on Friday and Saturday nights. We are 90 mins from Sydney by train and cinema and shopping requirements close by.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Magenta is a 4 kilometre bike ride through the national park to The Entrance where there are produce markets every Saturday on the foreshore. There is pelican feeding every day at 3.30 on the foreshore. There are banks, cinema, food and clothes shopping at The Entrance as well as at Bateau Bay, a bus ride away. Tuggerah Westfield and railway are 20 mins away if wanting to get to Sydney for the day. If not eating at the Magenta Club there is The Lakehouse Entrance restaurant as well as a lovely Thai restaurant called Coco Rice which is byo, inexpensive and yummy. The seafood dumplings are our favourite. There are many cafes at The Entrance but all day good coffee is available at the Magenta club house.
