My husband and I are an Argentinian-Belgian couple and we have a one-year old daughter, Luz. When we met, we lived for 4 years in Brussels, and then decided to move to Argentina in 2019 after that Luz was born. Next year, in May 2020 we hope to go back to Belgium to see family and friends for a couple of months. We are currently living in the Northwest of Argentina, in the province of Jujuy, in the Quebrada de Humahuaca. We love our life here as it is in the middle of the nature, we have a vegetable garden, enjoy walking in the mountains, and cooking. Ariel is photographer and I work for an organisation on the rights of persons with disabilities, the European Disability Forum. We also have a small NGO, Light of the Children that gives workshops in photography and art to children.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The house is located in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a valley that is declared UNESCO World Heritage. The region has many beautiful places to visit: the Pucara of Tilcara (the ancient ruins), nearby villages such as Purmamarca and Humahuaca with its beautiful surrounding mountains of seven and fourteen colours (Hornocal), the salt lakes - Salinas Grandes. If you go one hour more south, you arrive in a very green lush area where you can bath in termal water, and have the capital of the region, San Salvador de Jujuy where you can find all you need in the stores and supermarkets. The place is also close to the border with Chile (San Pedro de Atacama) and Bolivia (Salar d'Uyuni) where you have many more to visit and explore.

As this is our family home, we would love to find it back neady and tidy. If you wish, you can also enjoy the vegetable garden and take care of it, but that is not a must.
