Hi! We're a family of four -- Earl & Joy, Eleanor (15) and Lois (10). We are tidy, responsible, respectful, and conscientious, and will be considerate guests in your home.
Earl works in mental health and addiction recovery, and Joy is an actor, who also freelances as a stylist as her side hustle. Eleanor and Lois are into fashion and musical theatre.
We appreciate great design that goes out of the box with a bit of quirk, and we enjoy city living. We love reading, listening to music, watching movies, seeing art, taking photos, seeing live theatre, eating new foods in cool restaurants, treasure hunting in thrift stores, and walking around to explore new places.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
3-bedroom (queen, queen, 2 twins - sleeps 6), 2.5 bathroom home in LA's trendy Atwater Village neighborhood.
1550-square-foot safe and secure gated architectural row house with view of Griffith Park, indoor/outdoor living, plenty of easy street parking, WiFi, central AC, and washer dryer. Tons of natural light with floor to ceiling windows in every room.
Dogs will be considered with a deposit and conditions.
Our location is about a mile from Glendale Blvd's boutiques, restaurants, yoga and pilates studios, and right around the corner from a 3-par golf course, LA river bike/walk path, Equestrian center, and Village Bakery -- Neighboring Silver Lake, Los Feliz and Glendale neighborhoods, and close access to multiple freeways.
Our home is part of The Mews, built in 2010, as a collection of architectural, eco-friendly homes. These single family residences are designed by award-winning architects Corsini + Stark, and feature the best of California living, incorporating a modern aesthetic, incredible light and great floor plans. There are no shared walls with the other homes.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Atwater Village is like a small family-friendly neighborhood in the big city, and gives easy access to Downtown, The Arts District, Hollywood and Pasadena. We are adjacent to Silver Lake, Glendale, Los Feliz, and close to Echo Park, Eagle Rock, Mount Washington and Highland Park. This collection of east side neighborhoods is more trendy, hip and artsy than the west side, which is popular for its easy beach access. In LA, there are East Side people and West Side people -- just like how in New York there are uptown people, and downtown people.
