Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Charming bungalow built in 1932 in a quiet urban neighborhood with tree-lined streets. The home has a newly added wing that provides a second primary suite with walk-in closet and accessible shower. The house also has a sun room and the original primary bathroom with skylights and a two-person jacuzzi tub. There are three bedrooms along with an office with a very comfortable fold-out couch that can be used as a bedroom.
We have recently made major changes in the backyard. There is a large deck with seating areas and a gas BBQ grill, a covered patio, new plantings, a water feature, and planting boxes for vegetables and herbs.
Nearby bus routes provide easy access to downtown Denver, with venues for all major league sports. Local shopping, restaurants, and parks are within walking distance. A short drive to the Rocky Mountains for hiking, fishing, and skiing. Rocky Mountain National Park and other national parks within a 2 hour drive.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Wheat Ridge is one of the early, close-in Denver suburbs. The streets are lined with large trees and there are numerous parks nearby. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. It is even possible to walk to downtown Denver, about 3 miles away. Going into town is mostly downhill. We will sometimes walk into town and take the bus or light rail back home. A newly opened public market in Edgewater offers many casual food options and shops. We are close to parks and a large lake.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Our house is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and parks. We often walk to downtown Denver from the house. It may be a good idea to take the bus back up the hill! The bus stops are near the house; the bus can access the train that runs from Denver International Airport to downtown and light rail that goes to much of the metro area.
