Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Modernized & historical family house with high ceilings (4m) and light-flooded rooms. Our appartment on first floor with 110qm has a very quiet and green side with balcony and big, private garden with plenty of berrys, flowers, trees (i.e. plum, apple, pear, cherry) and areas to rest and to play for children (tree house, trampoline, horse, sand box, swing). We have a lot of fruit plants and trees and in summer we put a swimming pool. Location is 3min walking distance from Bonn main station (20min train to cologne).

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The house is 3 walking min from Bonn main station. With the train cities, nature, lakes and mountains are accessible easy and cheap (new 49€ ticket for German-wide travel for whole month). From Bonn station Cologne is 20min, Düsseldorf 1h, and Brussels 2,5h. The closest airport is Cologne/Bonn airport (20min by bus), but also Frankfurt Airport is only 1,5h. There are many activities and interesting places in Bonn and the surrounding area such as the old town of Bonn, mountains (Siebengebirge), Rhein promenade, close lakes, forrests or amusement park Phantasialand. Also the unique nature park Eifel is within a short car drive and offers several great day tours to historic towns, beautiful nature and (swimming )lakes.

In walking distance there are tons of restaurants, cafes and parks, playgrounds as well as the main shopping area of Bonn. Grocery (3min walk) is open everyday until 10pm.
Bonn offers nice activities along the Rhine, great museums, theaters, hiking tours, leisure activities such as swimming, bike riding, etc.
A daytrip to Cologne is easily done by train, with buses and trams and bikes you can explore the sourrounding nature and smaller towns, we will be glad to provide you with activities acording to your interests.
