We are a young family from Vienna. Our daughters are 2,5 years and 2 months old. Marcus is software engineer, Therese bike messenger. For the maternity leave of the younger daughter, we want to travel for a longer time.
We are very optimistic persons, we think you don't need a lot of things to be happy. We love bikes, nature and visiting friends all over the world.

We live in an old Building in the 4th floor with elevator. From the eat-in kitchen you come in the 3 rooms (2 Bedrooms, one living room with sleeping sofa) the bathroom with toilet and to the balcony.

We live in the flat part of Vienna, near the Danube. It's a very lively, multicultural district, with anything you need nearby. There are 2 little parks around the corner, the Danube in 10 minutes walking distance, the public transport is excellent and takes you fast to any part of Vienna.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
We live near the Danube - so in summer you get on your bike and you're in 10 Minutes on the Danube Island where you can choose your personal favourite swimming place on the 21 kilometres Island. If you need more Infrastructure and a bit warmer water you can also go to the public beach at Old Danube, which is about 15 Minutes per bike. There is also the Prater and the Augarten nearby - so it's the best place for visiting Vienna in summer. If you want a bit more culture - the public transport in Vienna is excellent and takes you in some minutes to every part of the city.
