Description of the home we are offering for exchange
our apartment/coach house would be ideal for 2/3 adults, is only a ten minute drive to the Humber Bridge and the motorway network and is a perfect base from which to explore the whole of Yorkshire and beyond. we live in a suburban development to the north of hull city centre which has a large retail park as well as lots of pubs and resaurants just a few minutes away.Kingston upon Hull has many attractions such as museums, theatres, art galleries and a huge public aquarium and marina as well as top sporting venues. hull also has a ferry terminal which gives easy access to mainland europe with sailings to both rotterdam and zebrugge Yorkshire is famous for its stunning countryside ie the wolds and the Dales (Herriot country) and seaside resorts. The cities of York (40 miles) and Beverley (5 miles) boast magnificent minsters as well as many other attractions. With the rest of mainland Britain a few hours drive away there is plenty of scope for weekend breaks etc.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
our neighbourhood has a full range of amenities as mentioned above as well as regular public transport and is located just a few hundred metres from the river Hull which has a foot/cycle path going right through to beverley and beyond. our apartment is in a quiet courtyard with very little traffic and is just a few minutes walk from the countryside.

It is only a ten minute drive to the Humber bridge and the motorway network if you want to explore the rest of Yorkshire and beyond. The city of Hull is a 15 minute drive and has many attractions such as museums, theatres and art galleries as well as a huge public aquarium (the deep) and a marina. there is also an excellent ferry service sailing to the European mainland. Hull has some excellent sporting venues if you like football or rugby and an ice arena. Yorkshire is famous for its stunning countryside ie the Wolds and the Dales (Herriot country) and seaside resorts. The cities of York (40 miles) and Beverley (5 miles) both boast magnificent minsters as well as many other attractions. With both the south (London), Scotland and Wales only 3 to 4 hours away there is plenty of scope for weekend breaks etc
