Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We have a modern and spacious 4 bed detached house situated in the beautiful small Essex town of Great Dunmow, England. downstairs our house has an entrance hall and downstairs toilet, leading to a large living room. The kitchen is open plan with a large and airy family room, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The garden has patio and lawn. We have a trampoline and sandpit and plenty of scooters and bikes for the children.
On the second floor is the master bedroom with king size bed , dressing area and en suite with a bath. Our two girls rooms both have single beds in. The family bathroom has a bath with over head shower. On the third floor is a small office space and a further double room.

We are on a lovely quiet street, their are many families and it is very friendly.
We are only a 10 minute walk into Dunmow high street which has a selection of lovely cafes, pubs, restaurants and clothes and gifts shop. There are two childrens parks within easy walking distance.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The town is situated on a Roman road and is thought to have been the site of a Roman station. Today, Great Dunmow is home to around 9000 people and is popular with commuters, due to its mix of rural charm and good transport connections to London.
We are a 40 min train or drive into central London and Cambridge. We are a 10 minute drive from stansted airport.
It is a 45 minute drive to some beautiful Essex beaches and sea side towns.
Nearby are some lovely walks and Essex countryside. There is so much to do with childrens- farms, parks, zoos etc.
Our house is only a 10 minute walk into Dunmow high street and there is a great selection of cafes, pubs, restaurants and clothes and gift shops.
It is really easy to get a train or bus into central London from one of the nearby stations.
