Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Recently built and comfortable house, having an incredible view over BLOIS city and over 25 km of the Loire river, in a large private park (4ha), surrounded by other woods inhabited by wild animals.
Blois is close to many Loire castles and is pleasant small town with a large castle, medieval center, several churches, museums and other points of interest.
180 km from Paris with 4 direct trains every day in 95 mn (and much more to/via Orléans and Tours).

Residential neighborhood, 3,5 km from Blois city center.
However the next house is distant of 300m and the most frequent visitors will be birds, deers and rabbits...
There is railway line between the garden and the Loire, but not really visible and most time not very noisy.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Chambord, Cheverny, Chaumont and of course Blois (which are 4 major Loire castles), within less than 20 km, and many others to visit in this region. A bus service is available for these ones.
There is also the Maison de la magie in Blois, The Clos Lucé in Amboise (Leonardo da Vinci last house) specially for kids, several interesting churches and museums, many shops and restaurants in BLOIS. There is no room enough here to list everything...

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
An House keeper is living in another house in the park, 350m away. He is kind, efficient and a very helpful and has 2 very well trained dogs, however he speaks only french.
Not only the park is 4 ha, but there is along 2 sides unattended woods with deers and other wild animals.
There are no fences all around the park, so kids must be watched because of possible vipers.
