Even less far to the Royal Botanic Gardens which are beautiful. And the famous MCG is also within walking distance. For travels further afield there's a bus or tram stop right outside. The apartment is very spacious and well appointed in a private block. We had a wonderful time, this is highly recommended.

Easy to access motorway, although very little need to use the car since the tram is so close. We enjoyed the nearby botanical gardens and attended the opera just a few blocks away. The sea life aquarium is awesome with it's "overhead" fish tank. I loved the Queen Victoria Marketplace -- great items at great prices. We got a good feel for the city with the Hop-on/Hop-off bus. We enjoyed our weekend trip to Wilson's Promontory.
