Location
Our house is part of a quiet and friendly area with very nice neighbours. If you wish, we will be glad to ask one of our neighbours to support you with local advice and knowledge during your stay.
Situated a bit up the hill, our house has a view over Zurich. Grocery stores, postoffice, pharmacy etc. are close by (5 minutes walk). Public traffic is right in front and will bring you in about 15 minutes to the beautiful centre of Zurich with all the Shops, Banks and Culture. In the back of the house commences a forest for recreation and within one hour walking (or 15 Minutes by public transport) you can reach the Uetliberg - aka Top of Zurich - with its marvelous view over the lake and mountains.

Home
Our house is an uncomplicated home for our family and guests. There is a 35m2 living room, two offices, three bed rooms and a large garden with terrasse, barbecue and table. In the living room there are 2 sofas and one of them is a comfortable bed-sofa, so there is enough space for 6-7 persons. The second floor we renovated in 2008/09. Not new but very functional is the kitchen. It will allow you to prepare the food you like. TV (sat), HIFI and piano are available for entertainment.
In the basement there are sauna, laundry, heating and a doityourself workshop. Four bikes are in the garage, two for kids.

Access
We would recommend to discover Zurich by walking and taking the fast and well functioning tram and bus lines. The wonderful lake, the finance district and the old town with Museums, Theatres and historical Monuments are on a walking distance.

Zurich is also well connected to interesting cities of Europe by train or by plane (Rome, London, Paris, Vienna, Berlin, Milano, Monaco etc.). Close to the beautiful cities of Lucerne, Berne, Basel and St. Gall and the spectacular
Alps and Sceneries of Switzerland.
