Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
The appartment is placed in a very quiet place of Pamplona, just 15 minutes walking from the center. There is also a bus stop at only 1 minute. In the neighborhood there is a bakery, a supermarket, some restaurants, some coffes, a pharmacy, two schools...there is also a park at one minute walking with a small lake with ducks and swans.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Pamplona is world wide renowned by San Fermin festival that is celebrated on July. Ernest Hemingway wrote about it in his famous book “Fiesta”. During seven days the city is dressed on white and red and every morning during the “encierro” some people run in front of the bulls along the streets of Pamplona. But Pamplona is much more than San Fermin: Beautiful old town with many historical buildings, ancient city walls, many parks and gardens, plenty of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy “pinchos” and very good wines. Is one of the cities on Saint James pilgrim way to Santiago de Compostela.
You can reach the beautiful city of San Sebastián and the basque coast in only 45 minutes. If you prefer to visit La Rioja and its famous wineries you will be there in only one hour. The north of Navarre is a natural paradise if you enjoy hiking or trekking, with the Pirenees mountains at one hour and a half. At one hour or so to the south you will find Bardenas desert, with its marvelous shapes sculpted by the erosion of wind and rain. There is a lot of things to discover in Navarra and surroundings.
