Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Costa Ballena (Rota, Cádiz)Three spacious balconies (8m X 3m; 4m x 3m, 1.5 X 6m ) with lovely views; The
largest one, south facing, overlooks a beautifully designed golf course and the sea behind; the second, north facing, overlooks the swimming pools, communal fenced gardens and pedestrian walk to the beach, under the shade of the willows.
2 bedrooms (2 + 3 people), 2 bathrooms (1 bathtub and 1 shower,) a well equipped kitchen. sofa bed with chaise long (2 people) in the living area. One elevator for every seven apartments.
Private underground parking with storage room
As our beautiful beach is a nice, very short, pedestrian walk ( 5 minutes, ) you will usually be on your own in our swimming pools (the adults one is olympic size, the other is a paddling one)
There are several water sports schools in the resort. Playgrounds, a lovely park, green everywhere. A large pharmcy, 2 very good supermarkets, a variety of restaurants, "tapa bars," cafés, takeaways, nice small shops...five luxury hotels, with daily indoor shows for children and adults, which non-guests are welcomed to enjoy while having a drink. Close to lively market fishermen villages (Rota, 4 Km; Sanlúcar, 12km) A wonderland for wine lovers (Jerez - Sherry, Sanlúcar.) Sevilla, Córdoba and their amazing Arab and Roman legacy are a one-day trip. Granada and the north of Africa are also well connected. Golf equipment, kayak, windsurfing board, bikes.
As we are almost retired, we spend most of our time here, it having become our little share of paradise, our haven of peace which allows us all the liveliness possible when we feel like it, only 4 km away.
