Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
From my apartment you can acces by food, basicly to everything you can do in a city, or in a short metro, bus ride.
Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofía Museums are 15, 20 minutes walk
Retiro Park: 20 minutes walk or 8 minutes bus ride and fromj there you are in uopscale "Barrio Salamanca"
Green areas sauch as: Parque del Oeste, Casa de Campo, Madrid Rio are walking distance as well
7 minutes from the apartment you will find as well the gorgeous Plaza de Oriente is where The Opera House and Royal Palace are. In that plaza you will find a play ground as well.
If you want to know sites around like Segovia or Toledo on your own, the train station Atocha is 10 minutes ride by taxi, and 20 by metro. The bus station to get to Segovia is 15 minutes walk from home or 1 metro stop.
If you want orgonaized tours,they leave everyday 5 minutes walk from home.
Food market is 3 minutes walk.
