Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our 80 year old townhome was fully renovated in 2017. The house has three floors with winding stairway connecting each floor. The first floor has a guest bedroom, laundry room with bath/sauna, and a tv room opening on to a large terrace. The second floor is the main living area with a living room/fireplace, kitchen, dining room (easily seats 10) and a balcony. The third floor has three bedrooms, one of which has a balcony with table and chairs and view of the hills surrounding Oslo. Three bedrooms have double beds and the smallest has one twin bed. The house has many windows with lots of light and a great view of Holmenkollen. Last but not least, we have many outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the long summer nights.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our home is a 80 year old townhouse located on the fringe of one Oslo's most popular neighborhoods called Ullevål Hageby. We are just a few minutes away from all kinds of public transportation, stores, local cultural activities and neighborhood parks. Our neighborhood is unique because we are close to both the Oslo City center and the national forest preserve called Nordmarka. It takes about 10 minutes with public transportation (35 minute walk) to travel south to the Oslo City center with all its attractions and 10 minutes to travel north to forest preserves with swimming, bicycle trails, and hiking paths.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
