400m walk to fabulous beach for fishing, swimming or surfing. Sunniest place in NZ. 3 hours from Auckland airport, 1 hour from Rotorua thermal wonderland, 1.5 hours to "Hobbitown" where The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings were filmed. 2 hours from Lake Taupo, 3 hours from Skiing, most of North Island accessible from here. 20Km to Tauranga City. Walk to local supermarket, doctors, pharmacy dentists and chiropracter, takeaway food, bar and restaurant etc.
