We live in residential area of central Mt Maunganui 3 kms from "The Mountain". The neighbourhood is one of permanent residents with extras at Christmas as this is NZ's top holiday resort. Its a 5 min walk to the Ocean Beach and 10min to the supermarket. Easy driving to all the other amenities including the harbourside.

The beach is 5 min away with 20km of pristine sand and rolling surf. The walk around (or up the 232m) Mount 3km away at the end of our peninsula is the most popular tourist and local past time. Have dinner on the harbourside beach while the cruise ship leaves-all very relaxing.
