Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
MEMBERS SINCE 2008, 17 exchanges to date. 12 minutes drive to the city centre and on a bus route. Fully double glazed and well insulated. Easy access to Southern Alps and ski areas; we are happy to exchange cars and encourage visitors to use our 4 wheel drive car for a trip round our magnificent South Island. Good walking, cycling in the immediate area.
We prefer, but are not limited to, Spring/Autumn exchanges with the northern hemisphere as the weather is more evenly balanced. We are particularly interested in a long term, 3-4 month, exchange in Scotland during the second half of 2018 or any time in 2019.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
A modern, hillside suburb on the edge of the city where most homes are architecturally designed. Footpaths interconnect the mainly cul-de-sac streets and traverse small parks. Hill walks from the house. Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island and a good base for exploring points both north and south. You can drive to the Southern Alps in an hour and a half. The city beaches are about 30 minutes drive.
