A great exchange in Spandau. A lovely location and a modern, stylish apartment overlooking the Havel river. A pleasant walk along the riverside to old Spandau on lazy days and a perfect place to return to after busy days exploring the amazing city of Berlin.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Parkstrasse in Spandau. Close to bus and train, it is a perfect place from where you can discover Berlin.

We enjoyed our stay in the home of Anette and Chris very much. Great place to stay, the city centre is on walking distance. We also enjoyed the walking and cycling in the region around Maastricht. Although we did not cook ourselves, the kitchen is well equiped for it. We slept well on the very good bed, and the bathroom has a lot of space. The communication between us and Chris and Anette was positive and helpfull.

It was a wonderful stay in a warm feeling home full of character. Anette and Chris gave us a warm welcome and lots of information. We enjoyed Maastricht very much. It was a idyllic peaceful home to stay with city centre around the corner and the neighborhood a paradise for cycling and walking. Absolutely recommended.

We had a really great time in Maastricht! What a beautiful city and surroundings. The house was in the city center, but in a quiet area. The street they live in is very steep. There was also a small cosy terrace on the backside of the house. We really felt at home. We did a lot of bicycling in the city and the area and Maastricht is a food walhalla, a really culinary city. Thanks for letting us stay in your house, Annette and Chris.

We felt very much at home in the comfortable and cosy house of Chris and Anette, 5 minutes walk from the Vrijthof, the old citywalls, etc. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed Maastricht by walking around, drinking a glass of wine on a terrace of one of the many restaurants (now open again after Corona lockdown), buying good bread and vlaai (the best of Maastricht!) at the bakery at the end of the street, walking to the Pietersberg in only half aan hour. Chris and Anette were very welcoming to us and left our houseboat neat and clean when leaving. We recommend their house to anyone! ‘Hartelijke groet’, Hilleke & Mijndert

Annette and Chris were nice, friendly and communicative. Their house is close to the center of Maastricht. So very nice to stay some time there!

We zijn Anette en Chris dankbaar voor ons verblijf in hun karakteristieke woning die van alle gemakken is voorzien. En op enkele minuten lopen van het historische centrum van Maastricht. Wat een sfeer, wat een prachtige straatjes en gebouwen. Behalve een bezoek aan Luik zijn we aan de omgeving niet toegekomen.

We hebben een paar heerlijke dagen beleefd in het mooie Maastricht en omgeving en dit mogen beleven vanuit een comfortabele woning.

Wij hebben, volop, genoten van een gezellig huis, stad vol verrassingen en een mooie omgeving die uitnodigt om te wandelen en te fietsen. Ook het onderlinge contact was bijzonder plezierig. Chrisje en Joop

Niet in de laatste plaats door het warme welkom voelden we ons meteen thuis in het fijne huis van Chris en Anette. De ligging is ook nog eens super voor stadsbezoek, maar ook ben je zo in het schitterende achterland van Zuid-Limburg!

We enjoyed this lovely old house in a quiet street in the middle of Maastricht. Despite the weather we started and ended our days in the small, but oh so cute courtyard with its plants and vegetables. Super. From the house we could explore the old city of Maastricht, walk along the river Maas, and eat in the lovely restaurants Chris and Anette recommended. Parking is a problem normally but Chris had shown us where to park for free not far from the house. We only were here for the weekend but the city and the region are crying out for a next visit. Ons verblijf in Eindhoven was heerlijk! Wij hebben genoten van alle gemakken van het fijn ingerichte huis van Ed en Karin. Ook het contact met hen was hartelijk. Wij hebben zelfs stekjes uitgewisseld, super leuk! Het bezoekje van dochter Maaike en de kleinkinderen was ook hartverwarmend. Bedankt voor de warme ontvangst en de heerlijke traktaties!

Thank you for the loan of your beautiful, stylish home. We enjoyed our time in Maastricht and visits to Valkenburg, Aachen, Roermond and Liege etc, using your excellent public transport system. It was an unforgettable experience visiting during the André Rieu concerts.
