We are open to a non-simultaneous exchange in 2020 and simultaneous also for the other school holiday dates. Our home will be available for 2 weeks - from March 31 to April 14. Let us know if you are interested.
We have had five successful and enjoyable exchanges with Homelink. Our children are still in school so we are tied to school holidays - 1 x midterm week in February and October, 2 x weeks at Easter and Christmas and all of August. We don't have the freedom to go abroad in June or July due to work commitments.

Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our house is spacious and child friendly. We have a 12 year old girl and a 5 year old girl. Although we live in the countryside, we are only 20mins from Galway city. Our house is 1 hour from Shannon airport, 1 hour from Ireland West (Knock) airport and 2 hours from Dublin airport. Car needed but will exchange car. Large garden with swings and slide and trampoline. Free wi-fi. Playstation 2 and Nintendo Wii. Lots of games and books. We have a selection of musical instruments in the house like fiddles, a piano, accordion, mandolin and trumpet.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a bean-to-cup coffee machine.
We have a second home on the middle of the Aran Islands Inis Meáin, which is sometimes available for exchange.
We have a small dog which we can send to the kennels for care and we have an outdoor cat who needs feeding daily by our guests. A friend will feed the cat if you are away overnight.

Our home is in the country but we have a lot of lovely neighbours. It is peaceful but not far from the city. We are only 12 miles from the city and are close to Athenry, Oranmore and Salthilll is a little further but not more than a 40 minute drive. Lots of opportunities for outdoor activities, water sports, walking, hiking or just relaxing.
