Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Cosy small terraced house in the heart of a river side village in rural Ireland. Wooden and tiled floors throughout. Kitchen come dining room and sitting room with solid fuel stove fire. Oil fired central heating throughout. Ground floor toilet and first floor bathroom and also ensuite in upstairs bedroom has an an electric shower. Upstairs two double bedrooms - a 6 foot bed and a 4 foot bed.
The washing machine is in the kitchen. We have no Wifi and the TV has limited channels in English and one in Irish. There is a record player and radio.

Quiet neighbourhood small village. Nearby Garden Centre, Roman Catholic Church, waterfront, three pubs, children's playground 5/10 minutes from house. Nearest big town Carrick on Shannon 5 miles away. Just of N4 road to Dublin 2 hours. Sligo large town 1 hour away.

Leitrim is full of waterways -lakes and rivers and forestry. Lough Rynn Castle Hotel and grounds 10km. Lough Key Forest Park 12km. Carrick on Shannon town has swimming pool, shops, smallest church in Europe, restaurants, pubs, cruising (Moonriver boat tours), watersports and play grounds. Don't forget to check out the Wild Atlantic Way - from Donegal to Cork.

Our home exchange - here are our Preferences and House Rules
We are open to all suggestions around Europe we travel in two or four adults on the trip. We love Paris! Our home is cosy and welcoming of adults and children. There are no pets in the house although other family members pets do visit. The garden is full of flowers and there is an irrigation system so unless we get a very hot spell of sunshine no watering needed!? If you would like help planning your trip, we are very happy to give suggestions about sight seeing and hidden gems of Ireland? We have done four exchange's. Paris twice, England and Switzerland
