Ballinrobe is a small town in the heart of the lake district. It is an ideal base for touring the west of Ireland. It is close to the beautiful village of Cong - home to Ashford Castle, and the towns of Westport and Galway are both within a short driving distance. Ballinrobe is home to a wonderful golf course, racecourse and is on the shores of Lough Mask, famous for its trout fishing. The town has plenty to offer by way of cafés, restaurants and pubs.
