Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We are looking to arrange our exchange for Summer 2019. We would love to visit Spain or Portugal again but all offers welcome & replied to!
We are open to short trips to UK, but are confined to school holidays.
Our house is a modern country home (built 2008), right in the geographical centre of Ireland.
Beautiful decorated with 4 large bedrooms, 2 en-suites all with walk in wardrobes.
Large Kitchen/Dining, Living/Play Room, Sitting Room, Study & 2 large bathrooms (upstairs & Downstairs). Large front and back garden (fully enclosed) with front & rear patio area, BBQ, Trampoline, Childrens swingset & slide & many toys!
The house is 3,000 sq ft/280 sq M and the overall site is on 3/4 acre. The gardens were landscaped in Spring 2012.
As it is a new house we have all the mod-cons; Solar panels heating our water, oil central heating but two stoves to keep you extra warm, just in case!!
Our home is extremely central: 1 hr to Dublin & Galway cities via Motorway.

Athlone is our main town and is 10 mins drive (30,000 inhabitants). It is a lively town with good shopping, pubs, restaurants and things to see & do e.g. Athlone Castle, River Shannon, Art, Theatre, Public Swimming Pool, Bowling, Leisure Centre, Oldest Pub in Ireland (Sean's Bar) see www.athlone.ie & www.visitoffaly.ie
We are 10km from the famous River Shannon, the longest River in the British Isles and thankfully with this amenity comes lots of water sports and activities.
