Our Home For Exchange
Description of the home we are offering for exchange

We are a family of 4 (2 daughters). Our end of terrace family home is near the town centre of Bussum; 15 min. (by car or train) from Amsterdam, 30 min. from the North Sea coast. Trains at 1km. Discover the "Garden of Holland" on our bikes. Visit the Rijksmuseum that just opened after a 10 year restoration. Only 5km to the Gooimeer, a lake with small sandy beaches. Visit the 655 year old fortified town of Naarden at just 2km or one of our castles. Satellite TV with Astra 1,2 and 3. We have a cat that would like to be fed daily but temporary arrangements can be made. We'll be happy to look after your pets if applicable.
Only 40 min. by train to Schiphol (Amsterdam) airport for cheap flights/trains (TGV) to UK, Belgium, Germany, France etc.

The area we live in has a very high standard of living and is known for its pretty villages like Laren, Blaricum, Huizen and Weesp all interlinked with very safe bicycle paths. Amsterdam can be reached in only 20 minutes by car or train. The train station is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bike ride from our house.We are near the town centre of Bussum, a quiet town, pop. 40,000. There are many shops and restaurants in town within walking distance.
