Great location and community. We made a few day trips, but (thanks to recommendations from Jeorg) we found plenty to see, do and eat (great choice of restaurants) in Heidelberg.

A very comfortable home in the lovely city of Heidelberg. The weather was great so I spent a lot of time on the pretty first floor terrace. The house is in very nice residential area just over the bridge from the old town and there are good restaurants in easy walking distance. Heidelberg was an interesting place and there are lots of beautiful towns and villages to visit in the area. Katrin and Jorge were great at communicating and very flexible in making the arrangments. All in all, a wonderful exchange.

Familie Schmülling waren tolle Tauschpartner, die ihre liebevoll renovierte Scheune in einem perfekten Zustand für uns hinterlassen haben. Ihr Haus ist wirklich besonders und hat einen schönen Aussenbereich und Dachterrasse. Es liegt sehr zentral, so dass man alles wirklich zu Fuss entdecken kann. Es gibt einen schönen Wochenmarkt und tolle französische Bäckerei um die Ecke. Auch wenn es so zentral liegt, ist es doch unglaublich ruhig. Heidelberg bietet neben einer tollen Altstadt und dem berühmten Schloss auch viele schöne Wanderwege in die Natur. So hatten wir nach langer Lockdown Zeit wieder schöne Einkaufs- und Esserlebnisse und gleichzeitig wunderschöne Touren in die umliegenden Hügel. Vielen Dank für diesen Tausch.

Vielen Dank für eine großartige Zeit in Heidelberg. Die Lage des Hauses in einer Sackgasse aber gleich um die Ecke Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Haltestellen zu haben sind ideal. Auf der Terrasse und vor dem Haus haben wir uns wie in einem südlichen Dorf gefühlt. Wanderungen vom Haus aus haben uns in die Umgebung geführt. Insgesamt ein sehr erholsamer Urlaub.

We had a wonderful exchange, we met with family beforehand. We were treated so well. The home had character, maintaining features from original building. The location was fantastic, close to shops, restaurants and amenities. We were able to explore the sights on foot and return to the tranquility of the house afterwards. Fabulous!.
