2 bedroomed recently restored stone farmhouse in south west France near the 14th century bastide village of Marciac famous for its international jazz festival every August. This area really is "the hidden France" where you really can get away from it all.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
"Au Tutet" is situated 4 miles from the ancient Bastide village of Marciac, 1 1/2 hours drive west of Toulouse. It is set in the rolling hills of the southern Gers often called French Tuscany. The snow capped Pyrenees are in view and only 45 minutes drive away. If you like to get away from it all and go for quiet walks or cycles in country lanes this will be heaven for you.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
The tiny 14th century village of Troncens is 10 minutes walk from our house. Marciac is our local village, 4 miles away where we have 2 boulangeries, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets. Marciac has a weekly farmers market every wednesday. Marciac now has a modern theatre and every August the village comes alive with the world famous Jazz festival. The area has many duck farms supplying the local restaurants with duck for local dishes such as cassoulet and cofit of duck.
