We are a French-Italian family and we have lived in Paris for 6 years now, so we know the city pretty well.
We are quite an active couple and we like outdoor activities like running, hiking, cycling, etc... We are also fond of history and science and we try to share these passions with our two childrens, Luca and Mathis, aged 2 years and a half and 3 months respectively.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
We offer our 3-room-apartment renovated in August 2017. The 54 square-metre apartment is located at the 4th floor of a typically Parisian brick building dating back to the beginning of the XX century. It is composed of two bedrooms, a fully equiped kitchen overlooking a comfortable living room with view over Paris roofs, a bathroom, a toilet and a storage room; the volume is perfectly optimised in order to avoid any waste of space. The cozy and warm atmosphere of the flat is the combination of period elements as the solid wood floor and the chimney, and functional brand new equipements and furniture.

Description of our neighbourhood and surrounding area
Our apartment is located in a very quiet street of a southern district of Paris (14th arrondissement). The surroundings provide any type of facility (shops, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, bars and restaurants) confering to the neighbourhood the ambience of a village in the city.
The flat is 5 min far from tramway T3 and 10 min far from underground lines M4 and M13. It is also close to Montparnasse train station. Bus 58 stops just by the flat. Moreover, a 20km long cycle path called "Coulée verte" allows to quit Paris in a few minutes and rejoin the southern parks of the region for picnics and other outdoor activities.
Three tram stops far from home you can find Montsouris park and the adjacent "Cité Universitaire", one of the oldest international campus of the world, remarkable for the eclecticism of its architecture and its green environment.
