We took early retirement and travelled extensively partly by sailboat and then moved to France . We love our mountain home but still want to travel. We have a daughter in BC Canada and a son in Manchester UK and would be interested in those destinations during the summer specifically but would consider swaps at other times and to other destinations.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Stunning mountain views across the Gave du Pau valley towards the beautiful village of St Savin. We are close to all the
winter and summer mountain activities and only 25 minutes from the nearest international airport with direct flights to Paris ,Milan and London.
This modern home is built in the traditional mountain chalet style. Slate roof, lots of wood and a feature log burning fire place. Our village is situated in the Pyrenees national park and home to the Donjon des Aigles castle and bird sanctuary as well as Pierre Sejous the famous Porc Noir artisan charcuterie. He also sells fresh bread each morning if you fancy a walk down .
There are five ski resorts within half hour drive the largest being Grand Tourmalet. The famous Cauterets ski area and thermal baths are less than 20 minutes away. In the summer its cycling walking and why not rafting, canyoning and paragliding!
This is a major year round tourist destination and the sites and activities are just too numerous to include them all.
We retired early and bought the property earlier in 2017. We chose this destination to enjoy Mediterranean type summers and snowsport filled winters. We wanted to live in the mountains but not on top of one and enjoy the snow but not live in a ski resort. Our beautiful green valley with is mild micro climate fits the bill perfectly.
We have 3 double bedrooms all have view across to the mountains and to the valley below. There is also a double sofa bed on the Mezzanine of required. There is a large double bathroom with separate shower stall A second shower and wc room as well as a separate wc. The living area is open plan with views across the mountains and comprises dining area, formal seating area with double doors to the terrace, TV snug, office, large kitchen with breakfast bar. There is a separate laundry room with washer and drier, freezer and sink. There is a double garage and storage for sports equipment cycles etc. Outside there is ample parking for several cars.. The garden is being landscaped and planted as we write and has a terrace with stunning views, awning, furniture and BBQ.
