33 year old socialworker. I have recently battled breast cancer and won - now I want to see even more of the world and the wonderful people in it.
I am interested in cultural activities, art, history and food. In my free time I enjoy writing, watching movies from my extensive dvd collection in bed, going to museums during the day and jazz clubs at night, dancing and lipsyncing 80s hits into my hairbrush in front of my wardrobe mirror.
I am kind, easygoing and very willing to help. I have been renting my apartment out on airbnb many times so I am no stranger to preparing the apartment for guests and I love the idea of homeswapping and sharing my home and lovely city with you - will make sure to share all the good inside tips with you :)

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Welcome! My home is a spacious and very cosy apartment in Copenhagen suitable for 2-3 people (1 kingsize bed, 1large and comfortable sofa as well as matress if needed)
There is a beautiful large enclosed garden with bbqs and swings and there is a large recreational park just 5 minutes walk from here.
The apartment has a luxurious feel but with all the cosiness and comforts of home.
It is in a very safe neighbourhood in Copenhagen. It is 200 metres from the nearest bus and S-train station. You can reach downtown Copenhagen in less than 10 minutes from the apartment. The apartment is on the second floor.
Please make your self at home and enjoy this wonderful oasis when you're not enjoying the capital of the happiest country in the world :)

Lejligheden ligger i den del af København der omtales som "Syd havnen". Området er meget roligt, som en lille oase i storbyen. Sydhavnen er et gammelt arbejderkvarter i København som i dag byder på både havn, strand, park, kultur og indkøb. Valby parken ligger 5 minutter væk, her kan du fodre ænder eller fortsætte ned til havet (Øresund).
S-togs stationen ligger 2-3 minutter fra lejligheden (Sjælør station), herfra kan man nå til Vesterbro på 3 minutter og til Københavns Hovedbanegård på 6 minutter.

You can be at hip Vesterbros meat packing district within 10 minutes to enjoy danish street food and micro brewery beer or you can get to the Grand Central Station in just 6 minutes on the S-train (local metro-like trains) and enjoy your day riding rollercoasters in the secondoldest amusement park in the world, Tivoli.
Rent bikes and ride them everywhere - Go to the park and feed the danish national birds; the white swans - Take a swim in the super clean harbour bath (rain or shine!) - Go catch a show, a movie, watch stand up, take a guided tour of Copenhagen - whatever you want to do, you can most likely be there within 15 minutes from this apartment :)
